Official International Guardians of 26.995MHz
Hi....My Name is Greg, (Mike, John, depending on which frequency you
spoke to me on over the last twenty or so years) and I live in the City of Melbourne. I am
not a Ham as I failed the FULL Call theory exam by 1 point 3 TIMES!! Of course this was
after I was Busted by Goldie with the Uniden 2020 on 11 Mtrs. Most unusual as I repaired
radios of my friends who got through.
Probably just as well as I like to have the good
gear, and if I was a full call it would cost me a fortune to buy what I wanted.
Although I am known as Number FIVE of the
Alpha Xray International Syndicate
(AXIS). - AX05
I was also known WORLD WIDE as the BELLHOPPER, but unless you were around the high
frequency's late sixties to mid seventies, you will not have heard of me.
My distinctive and unusual QSL cards were an international
highlight as they were custom made from Micrographics generated Microfiche (A
plastic near indestructible Mylar)
YES, I did get my
official CBRS DOC Licence from Richmond half an hour after the doors opened on the first
day. I held onto the same VCE number till they cancelled the requirement to renew
licences.
